About Co Extrusion Decking
The outer layer of co extrusion decking is covered with a protective shell of a strong and durable polymer, so it is also called “capped” or “covered” decking. The protective case is made from special engineering-grade polymers and additives that have extremely low water permeability. It prevents moisture from penetrating into the core, thus effectively preventing deck rotting, cracking or mildew problems.
The water absorption of co extrusion decking is 0%. Compared to the traditional 1st generation decking, It has better stain resistance, fade resistance. The scratch resistance of co-extruded decking is 4 to 5 times that of traditional decking, and it has the longer life span.
